In 1949, Anton Hopf founded the company in Zirndorf. In 1953, the proprietor expanded his range of products to include plastics processing in the form of injection moulding of thermoplastics. Some years later, the plastics production was supplemented by injection moulding and mould-making. In 1977, the son of the founder, Dipl.-Kfm. Hans-Juergen Hopf, joined the company management. The expanding development of the company led to the construction of  a new production plant in Zirndorf.
 

Development of the product range extends primarily to medical articles produced in clean-room conditions, plastic articles for domestic appliances, for the furniture and packaging industries, as well as high-precision components for the automotive and electrical industry.
